Why Brewlett

A vault, not a feed.

We are not building another social network. We are building a quiet place where your family's stories are kept honestly, indefinitely, in the voice of the people who lived them.

Their voice, kept.

Audio first. The pause between sentences, the laugh at the right word, the breath before a hard memory, preserved, not summarized away.

Their language, honored.

From Tamil and Hindi to Thai, Spanish, Arabic, and Mandarin — over 56 languages are first-class for recording and transcripts. Type ramps and spacing are tuned for each script, never a translated screen.

Built to outlive us.

Family-only access by default. No ads, no resale, no model training on your stories. Export anything to print whenever you want.

A glimpse

What a memory looks like.

Each entry pairs the original recording with a clean transcript and your editorial notes. Browse by storyteller, theme, or moment.

Childhood

नानी की शादी

12 min · 3 days ago · नानी · दिल्ली

उस दिन बारिश हो रही थी। मुझे आज भी चमेली की खुशबू याद है।

Career

पापा की पहली नौकरी

8 min · 1 week ago · पापा · दिल्ली

वह हर सुबह पैदल दफ़्तर जाते थे — जेब में कुछ सिक्के और सामने पूरी ज़िंदगी।

Home

The house he built

15 min · 2 weeks ago · Grandpa

He mixed the cement by hand, one room a year, until the whole family fit under one roof.

Everyday

Sunday mornings

6 min · 5 days ago · Mum

The radio on, dough on the table, and the smell of something warm before anyone else was awake.

Quiet by design

Built like a journal, not a network.

Your family's stories belong to your family. Encrypted at rest. Family-only access. Never used for advertising, never trained on, never sold. Brewlett earns revenue only when a family chooses a printed book or paid plan.

Languages and your recordings

Brewlett supports over 56 languages for recording and transcripts — the 12 marketed Indian languages plus Thai, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Russian, and more. You choose each storyteller's language on the Family page, and every language is available to any storyteller regardless of where you are.

Audio is transcribed in the language spoken. Transcripts are stored in native script with optional English translation for family members who read English. We do not limit your vault to only Tamil or Hindi.
